CVS Debuts a Bunch of New Vegan Products as Part of Latest Live Better Collection

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, more and more people are looking to incorporate health-supportive supplements and plant-based superfoods into their routines. Suddenly, your chicken-guzzling boyfriend may be clicking “add to cart” on the probiotic sleep shots and your BFF, who has long adhered to the cheese-fries-and-OREO diet, is suddenly all about chia seeds.

Well, whether you’re new to the plant-based, healthy eating ethos or have long been espousing the virtues of flax oil, you’re in luck when it comes to shopping for amazing, affordable new products. Last week, CVS Pharmacy announced that it’s introducing 80 new wellness products under the Live Better by CVS Health brand, exclusive to the company. Even better? All the products come in at least 80% easy-to recycle packaging. Of the bunch, several are vegan, and the collection of new items also contains many USDA-certified organic, non-GMO project verified, and cruelty-free items.

With the unveiling of so many new Live Better product offerings, customers have access to high-quality ingredients that reflect the latest wellness trends, at a good value.”

Personally, we’re loving the Live Better Marine Greens Blend ($25.79), a naturally gluten-free, vegan, and organic loose powder made of kelp, chlorella and spirulina, that we’ve been slipping into smoothies and overnight oats. We’re also pleased to report that our tooth brushing routine has been enhanced by the Live Better Bamboo Toothbrush ($4.99), that is made from Moso bamboo, as opposed to conventional bamboo, the sourcing of which is destructive to pandas whose diet consists entirely of the plant.
