Chop bell peppers quickly with minimal waste

Bell peppers aren’t exactly difficult to chop in the first place, but this technique helps minimize waste and is super fast. Just stand your pepper up on the cutting board (if it won’t stand straight you can slice a bit off the bottom to flatten it out).

Then cut off one of the sides, like so:

Rotate it and cut off the other three sides in the same way.

You’ll be left with four nice big chunks of bell pepper and just the stem and seeds left over – very minimal waste!

From there you can slice it into strips or chop it into small pieces, whatever your recipe calls for!
