Vegan Crispy Baked Onion Rings

These homemade vegan onion rings are oil-free, baked, and delightfully crispy. Enjoy them as a healthy side dish with plant-based burgers or wraps, or pair them with other vegan finger foods.

Step 1:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove the peel and cut your onion into 1/4-inch thick slices. Separate the rings slice.

In a bowl, combine the flour, milk, and spices. Whisk well. Meanwhile, prepare the breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl.

Using tongs or clean fingers, dip each onion ring into the batter. Make sure each side is completely coated.

Step 3:

Let the excess batter drip off. Place the onion ring in the bowl of breadcrumbs, coating both sides.
