Vegan Coquito (Puerto Rican Eggnog)

This homemade vegan coquito is creamy, rich, and dairy-free. It’s packed with coconut and cinnamon, making it the perfect holiday drink. Make it in advance or skip the rum for a non-alcoholic version.

Ingredients

full-fat coconut milk vegan evaporated milk condensed coconut milk cream of coconut almond milk vanilla extract rum cinnamon nutmeg

Garnish: coconut flakes white sugar cinnamon sticks

Step 1:

To a blender, add the liquid ingredients and spices. Blend until smooth and thick. Keep in mind your blender's “maximum liquid” threshold.

Instructions

Just before serving, combine coconut flakes or shredded coconut with sugar and cinnamon. Spread on a plate.

Pour a small amount of coquito into a bowl or shallow plate. Dip the rim of your glass in the coquito.

Dip the glass rim into the coconut cinnamon mixture. Rotate to coat completely.
