Vegan Protein Review: What Is the Best Vegan Protein Powder?

If you’re looking for a vegan protein powder, you’ve come to the right place. The Clean Green Simple team decided to do a real, hands-on taste test of 12 different protein powders.

This organic protein powder was sweet without being over the top. It didn’t have an aftertaste, unlike the sweeter powders in this list. We also liked the texture; it blended well and was smooth.

This plant-based protein powder from Lyfefuel uses whole food ingredients and sources its protein from peas, brown rice, and quinoa.

Ora sources its protein from 13 whole food protein sources, including brown rice, chia seed, cranberry seed, pumpkin seed, sacha inchi, watermelon seed, amaranth sprout, and more.

The raw organic blend contains a lot of different proteins, which is pretty impressive. But we weren’t a fan of the flavor or smell; it reminded us of Play-Doh.

Though it had a natural vanilla scent, we couldn’t actually taste the vanilla. The rice flavor was overpowering.
